Pinch — Privacy Policy

Pinch is a food and macro tracker designed to keep your data on your device.

What Pinch collects

Nothing.

Pinch does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information, usage analytics, food log data, body-weight data, or settings. There are no accounts, no logins, no telemetry, and no third-party SDKs that track you.

What Pinch stores

All meals, food entries, custom nutrients, daily goals, body-weight entries, and settings are stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your phone unless you explicitly export it via the in-app JSON export feature.

Network access

Pinch makes no network requests. The app functions identically with airplane mode on.

Third-party services

Pinch does not integrate with or send data to any third party. No analytics platforms, no advertising networks, no crash reporters, no cloud sync.

Children's privacy

Because Pinch collects no information of any kind, it complies with COPPA, GDPR-K, and similar regulations protecting children's data by default.

Your data, your control

• Export: More → Data → Export creates a complete JSON file of every meal, food, nutrient, goal, and body-weight entry.
• Import: More → Data → Import restores from a previously exported file.
• Delete: Uninstalling Pinch removes all data permanently. There is no cloud copy to clean up.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with an updated "Last updated" date.
